VISIT MICHAEL JOHNS CENTRAL!
Hey, I know you haven't made an update here for LONGGG time, but believe me
I've been plenty busy. Besides going to two Boys Like Girls concerts (and getting to meet the band!), I've
gone to FXShow (where I get to meet people like Nathan Fillion, Nicholas Brendan, and George Takei!), MegaCon (Adrian Pasdar!!), and I'm going
to Eye Con next month to meet one of my biggest celebrity crushes, Jared Padalecki. But anyway, this update is for the new fansite I just opened.
I know, I barely take care of the other one I own, and I just closed another, but while I lost my passion for House (still a great show,
can't wait for it to return), I regained my love for American Idol. The last time I actively watched the show was back in Season 3 so its
been a while since there have been contestants interesting enough to keep me, well, interested. This year my two favorites are Michael Johns
and David Cook, two extremely talented, original, and good-looking guys who should have record deals whether or not they win the
competition. I'm even voting again! And that's something. Anyway, the fansite I opened is for Michael Johns. He's got some great fan communities,
but I've yet to find a traditional fansite so I made one. If one doesn't eventually pop up, I'll probably make one for David too :) So whether you're
a fan of American Idol or not, give the site a visit and download some of his performance mp3s. You just might become one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Yep, I am now 18!! I didn't do anything really grand, but it was still a great birthday. I only
had one class today so I was home early and was able to finish all my homework quickly so I'd
have a free evening. My family and I went to Carrabba's for dinner and rented Some Like It Hot
from the library. I openned presents when we got home and got some lovely gifts including cash (of
course, lol), a top, a superstar subscription to Stardolls, and
wait for it...wait for it... a GUITAR!! I was in utter disbelief when I saw it. I have wanted to learn
how to play the guitar for the longest time, but already having a drum set, I didn't think they'd
ever actually get me a guitar. But they did! And its awesome! It's a pink (which I'm a little iffy on, but
whatever, its a guitar!) Fender acoustic guitar, and I can't wait to start playing it! That seriously
made my day. Oh, that and finding out that we weren't just going to one Boys Like Girls concert next week,
but TWO! How awesome is that? Finally, finishing up the night, everyone watched Some Like It Hot, one of my new
favorite movies (which no one but I had seen). All in all, a pretty enjoyable 18th birthday :)

Yep, I've decided to start playing TCGs again. I've been doing them on and off again since 2003, and
haven't played for about a year. However, I'm back in the game, and I'm really enjoying it so far.
Here's the link to my trading post: CLICK. Check it out and if you're
not already playing, consider joining in on the fun!

Yep, new layout! I got tired of seeing the last one even though it featured the beautiful Natalie Portman.
This current layout features Martin Johnson, the lead singer of my favorite band, Boys Like Girls. I'm very pleased with this one. Like my past couple of
layouts, it's very simple as that's how I like my layouts but I also love the colors and Martin just looks so cute in these photos
(Credit).
Anyway, in my last update, I was getting ready to leave for Comic Con. Well, I got back a few weeks ago time ago and I must say it was
one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I'm definitely going back next year. There are too many highlights to list here. The only
real disappointments were not getting into the Heroes panel after waiting in line for over 2 hours (we actually got pretty close but left the
line after the panel had halfway ended already, still there were several hundred people behind us waiting to get in - talk about dedication!) and
the fact that Tim Roth was not present at the Marvel panel (I was in the Q&A line and everything). But other than that, the exhibit hall, the
panels, celebs, movie previews, exclusives, fans, costumes... everything was simply a dream come true for me.
We were fortunate to have really close seats in most of the panels and took plenty of pictures so I'll try to
put some up here later.
As far as updates go, nothing out of the ordinary today:
