Gaussian Blue

I just love this effect! It makes you images look alot smoother and gives them kinda like a glowish feel to them. It's really something neat to know!

  • First open the image you want to work on and copy it (Ctrl + C).
  • Then go to Effects >> Blur >> Gaussien Blur
  • Now change the radius to something like 3, that's want I used, but you can make it whatever you want.
  • Okay, now right-click and paste as new layer on top of your blurred image.
  • You should see just the original image, now. Go to Layers >> Properties and change the opacity. I used 50, but again you can change it to whatever you want.
  • Merge the image and you're done!
